1969.- Mexican Ruben “Púas” Olivares knocked out Australian Lionel Rose in the fifth round in Inglewood, California. In this fight the WBC bantamweight title was at stake.

1980.- Puerto Rican Wilfredo Gómez knocked out Derrik Holmes in the eighth round in Las Vegas, Nevada, defending his WBC super bantamweight title.

1992.- Mexican Ricardo “Finito” López defended his WBC straw-weight title, knocking out  Thai Singprasert Kittikasem in 4 rounds, in Ciudad Madero, Tamaulipas.

2020.- Alexander Povetkin conquered the WBC interion heavyweight title by knocking out Dillian Whyte in the fifth round. The match took place in Brentwood, Essex, England.
