1976.- The legendary Muhammad Ali defeated Jimmy Young by decision in Landover, Maryland. The WBC heavyweight title was at stake in this match.
1988.- In the Plaza de Toros of Cartagena de Indias, the Colombian Miguel Lora retained his WBC bantamweight title, defeating the Argentine Lucio López.

2010.- In Tokyo, Japanese Toshiaki Nishioka knocked out Filipino Balweg Bangoyan in the fifth round, defending his WBC super bantamweight title.
2011.- In combat between Mexicans. Adrian “Confessor” Hernández knocked out Gilberto Keb Baas in 11 rounds, winning the WBC light flyweight title. The combat took place in Texcoco, State of Mexico.
2022.- American Shakur Stevenson conquered the WBC super featherweight title by defeating Mexican Oscar Valdéz by decision. The match took place in Las Vegas, Nevada.
