1963.- At the Municipal Auditorium in New Orleans, Ralph Dupas won the WBC super welterweight title by defeating Dennis Moyer by decision.
1966.- At the PalaEur in Rome, Italian Sandro Lopopolo defeated Venezuelan Carlos Hernandez by decision. In this fight the WBC super lightweight title was on the line.
1971.- Italian Carmelo Bossi defended his WBC super welterweight title by defeating Spanish José Hernández, in Madrid.
1978.- At the Forum in Inglewood, California, Nicaraguan Alexis Arguello defended his WBC super featherweight title by defeating Filipino Rey Tam.
2000.- At Madison Square Garden in New York, British Lennox Lewis knocked out American Mike Grant in 2 rounds. With this victory Lewis retained his WBC heavyweight title.
