1971.- At the Curtis Hixon Hall in Tampa, Florida, Bob Foster defended his WBC light heavyweight title, defeating Ray Anderson by decision in 15 rounds.
1976.- The champion from the Bahamas, Elisha Obed, defended his WBC super welterweight title, defeating the Ivorian fighter, Sea Robinson, by decision. The bout took place at the Treichville Stadium in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
1977.- At the Nuevo Circo in Caracas, Venezuela, Mexican Miguel Canto defeated Venezuelan Reyes Arnal by decision. With this victory, Canto defended his WBC flyweight title.
1981.- Panamanian Hilario Zapata defeated Nicaraguan Rudy Crawford by decision in San Francisco, California. With this victory Zapata defended his WBC light flyweight title.
1999.-Filipino Manny Pacquiao knocked out Mexican Gabriel Mira in the fourth round, defending his WBC flyweight title. The match took place at Barangay Cubao’s Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Philippines.
2004.- Ukrainian Vitali Klitschko conquered WBC heavyweight title by knocking out South African Corrie Sanders in 8 rounds. This fight took place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
2004.- In a fight held in Tuxtla Gutierrez, Chiapas, Mexico, Jorge “Travieso” Arce knocked out Melchor Cob Castro in 5 rounds. In this fight the WBC light flyweight title was at stake.
2009.- Thai Pongsaklek Wonjongkam defeated Mexican Julio Cesar Miranda by decision, defending his WBC flyweight title. The match took place in Bangkok, Thailand.
2010.- In Herning, Denmark, the Danish Mikkel Kessler defeated the British Carl Froch by decision. In this fight the WBC super middleweight title was at stake.
2015.- Swedish Badou Jack defended his WBC super middleweight title by defeating American Anthony Dirrell by decision. This bout took place in Chicago, Illinois.
2021.- In a great fight between Japanese warriors, Kenshiro Teraji defended his WBC light flyweight title by defeating Tetsuya Hisada by decision in 12 rounds. The bout took place in Osaka, Japan.
