2012.- At the Don Haskins Center in El Paso, Texas, Mexican Abner Mares defeated Puerto Rican Eric Morel by decision. With this triumph, Mares conquered the WBC super bantamweight title.

2014.- Belgian Delfine Persoon defeated Argentine Erica Anabella Farias, crowning herself the WBC 140-pound champion. The match took place in Zwevezele, Belgium.

2018.- Jermall Charlo unleashed a brutal three-punch combination that knocked out Hugo Centeno in the second round of their scheduled 12-round, 160-pound title fight at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Charlo won the WBC interim middleweight championship.
