1984.- At the Cobo Arena, in Detroit, Michigan, American Milton Mccrory knocked out the Frenchman Giles Elbilia in the sixth round. With this victory Milton retained his WBC welterweight title.

1985.- In an expected match, Marvin Hagler knocked out Thomas Hearns in the third round in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this fight the WBC middleweight title was at stake.

2018.- At the Arena, Yokohama in Japan, Nicaraguan Cristofer Rosales was crowned WBC flyweight champion by knocking out Japanese Daigo Higa in the ninth round.
