
“Neza Again!” Odín Juárez and Brayan “Azteca” Rivera lead the first show of the year presented by Chiquita González Boxing and PHILLIPS – ASSA ABLOY on March 12.
Under the Dome of the Metropolitan Stadium, Juarez and Rivera face off, for an eight-round fight in the super bantamweight division, topping the bill of “Neza Fight Night” show, which will be broadcast live on TVC Deportes.
The undefeated Juárez (10-0-2, 3 KOs) is the favorite, although he`ll face a rival who has power with his nine knockouts.
There will be seven more fights, the co-main event between Alan Rosas (4-1, 4 KOs), who after losing last November will look for redemption again Emanuel López (2-4, 1 KO) in order to bounce back, in a six-round super lightweight clash.
The undefeated Isaac “Chato” Cárdenas (2-0) will face Néstor Mejía in four rounds at bantamweight. WhileCristián Dávalos (3- 0, 2 KOs) will face Sergio Lebenztajn (1-0), at cruiserweight.
In the featherweight division, Ángel Sauceda (2-0, 1 KO) Vs Edwin Barrientos (1-1, 1 KO) and Juan Escobedo (2-1, 1 KO) will seek to return to the path of victory when he faces against Christian López (1-1).
There will also be three women’s fights. The main one between the undefeated María “Chispa” Cortés (3-0), who will face Karla Ríos García (0-1).
Also Dana Paola Cid and Ana María Reyes will fight, in the straw weight division. Marbeth Santiago and Leslye Michelle Cruz will also have their first fight.
