This Thursday, Takuma Inoue (13-0, 3 KOs) will face World Boxing Council’s bantam champion, Nordine Oubaali (16-0, 12 KOs), in the main backup match of the World Boxing Super Series bantam final, which will take place in Saitama City, Japan.
The champion is already in this city and he is sure that in the future he will have even bigger fights, like against Takuma’s older brother, Naoya Inoue (18-0, 16 knockouts) or versus Filipino icon Nonito Donaire (40- 5, 26 knockouts), who will fight in the main event of the same card.
The champion revealed that he prepared in Kazakhstan, where conditions are similar to Japan, and traveled to Japan through Seoul. Oubaali explained the reason for training in Kazakhstan, and not in France, and added that he had been training with fighters with similar style to Inoue´s during his camp. Regarding fight in his rival´s backyard, Oubaali stated this is not a problem given his amateur experience, since he`s a two time Olympian.
About his rival Takuma, Oubaali commented that he is a good fighter with a lot of speed, but he himself certainly has all the tools to neutralize him.
