
Serbian Marko Nikolic (26-0-0, 11 KOS), who`s Mediterranean light heavyweight champion of the World Boxing Council, defeated Frenchman Patrick Bois Jr. (15-8-1, 3 KOS), by unanimous decision in Obrenovac, Serbia.
Nikolic showed his quality and good boxing skills against a difficult and determined opponent in Bois Jr, who never gave up.
At the end of the first 4 rounds the 3 judges scored 39-37 for Nikolic and at the end of the 8 rounds the judges Robin Dolpierre and Amer Nummanovic scored 68-65 and Predrag Alexis 68-66. The final scores were Dolpierre 97-93, Nummanovic 96-94 and Alexis 97-94.
The bout supervisor was WBC Vice President Houcine Houichi.
