Nery Plata Completes 30-Day Pre-Weigh-in

On October 18, Lourdes “La Pequeña Lulu” Juárez will defend her WBC light flyweight world championship against former champion Yesica Nery Plata, on the Most Valuable Prospects 16 card organized by MVP Promotions, at the South Padre Island Convention Center in Texas.

The undercard will also feature other notable fights. Desley Robinson will defend her middleweight world titles against American Logan Holler.

Former champion Shurretta Metcalf will return to action against the undefeated Krystal Rosado in an eight-round duel.

Nery Plata, who returns to the ring after almost two years of inactivity and will debut under the promotional banner of Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian, has complied with the 30-day pre-weigh-in.
