Morán vs Haney for WBC International Lightweight Title

Mexican Antonio “Toño” Morán of All Star Boxing Inc team and Sports Productions is on the verge of a huge chance, as opportunity knocks.

On May 25 at the MGM National Harbor in Oxon Hill of Maryland, he`ll face the undefeated prospect North American Devin “The Dream” Haney for the International Lightweight Championship of the World Boxing Council. It`s presented by Matchroom Boxing and will be broadcast by DAZN.

“Today I have this amazing opportunity and now it’s our turn to make everything come true. That’s why we are more motivated to give it everything and leave a good impression  on  the promoters there,” he said.

After analyzing his opponent Antonio observed:  “We have seen that he is a fast, he throws quick combinations and is very mobile  around the ring. We have been working on that, in cutting the distance.”

Morán (24-3 17 KO’s) comes from defeating Alejandro Zúñiga on December 7, 2018, his second commitment in United States, and his first fight as main event,

Haney (21-0 13 KO’s) will be making the first defense of this belt after winning it by defeating  South African Xolisani Ndongeni on January 11 this year.
