Former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson gave some sage advice to Deontay Wilder to regain the Hevayweight World Boxing Council title, after losing it to Tyson Fury last month.
Mike considered that “The Bronze Bomber” lacked motivation during the rematch, for which he fell by knockout against the Englishman.
“The first fight against Fury was fought with more confidence. The second fight was made as if he had no enthusiasm. I just don’t think he was the same fighter after the first one.”
“If Wilder is looking to win the green and gold belt again, he needs to get his spirits up and dedicate himself to training. If you want to win this fight, you simply must stop feeling sad or discouraged; you must regain your confidence, your hunger and enthusiasm.”
The third match between Fury and Wilder is expected to take place on July 18, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, it will have to be rescheduled.
