Memorable Inauguration of Mexico´s Popular National Games 2019
World Boxing Council President Mauricio Sulaiman Saldivar, led the opening ceremony of the 2019 Popular National Games, in Acapulco.
More than 4,000 athletes who were finalists of the municipal and state stages that took held during the months of July and August, were present and correct.
The procession paraded through the boulevard de las Naciones with thousands, headed by Don Pepe Mora, founder of the Popular National Games, Juan Pablo el Pivi Romero current WBC FECARBOX welter champion, leader of WBC Amateur, Dr. Fausto Daniel Garcia, authorities of the state of Guerrero and dozens of judges, referees, referees and officials who will be conducting the activities in the different sports disciplines.
Boxing returns through the big door to the JNP 2019 with the support of WBC, the top governing body of this sport worldwide.
The 2019 edition of these Popular National Games stands out for the return of boxing, the most beloved and most traditional sport.
The inaugural event was held at the Imperial World Forum, home of this final stage, with the attendance of around 4,000 competitors.
The 2019 National Popular Games will end on Friday, September 6th , and athletes from the 26 delegations of different federal entities will participate in the disciplines such as boxing, Chinese martial arts, 6 × 6 soccer and white flag.
Prior to the event, athletes from different states held a parade that ended in the hall where the opening ceremony was held.
