Mauricio Sulaimán and Julio César Chávez honored  by Pope Francis

World Boxing Council President  Mauricio Sulaimán and the best fighter in the Mexican boxing history,  Julio César Chávez were received by Pope Francis, at the Vatican.

“I am very excited to be in this place and next to the Pope, a man that we all love and respect,” said Mauricio, while Chávez said that this was a unique and divine experience.

Mauricio was also accompanied by the representative of Scholas Occurrentes in Mexico Héctor Sulaimán, and the president of this  organization José Maria del Corral.
