Manny Pacquiao Presidential Candidate in the Philippines

Philippine idol Manny Pacquiao announced this Sunday his candidacy for the Presidential Election in the Philippines, representing the Philippine Democratic Party-People’s Power.

Pacquiao was nominated by his allies during a party meeting. The Presidential Election will be held in the Philippines in May 2022.

Manny already announced in 2020 that he plans to run for president of the Philippines.

“Today, I bravely accept the challenge to run for President of the Republic of the Philippines. We need government to serve our people with integrity, compassion, and transparency. The moment is now. We are ready to rise to the challenge of leadership,” said Pacquiao.
