Magnesi magnanimously defends WBC Silver title
In a close fight in Rome, and broadcast by DAZN, Michael Magnesi defeated tough fighter Nike Theran by decision.
The judges’ cards were 114-113, 115-113 and 116-112, all in favor of the Italian Magnesi, who retained the World Boxing Council super featherweight silver title.
Despite having lost his undefeated status the Colombian showed great heart in the fight, resulting in a very close contest from start to finish.
