
World Boxing Council super flyweight champion Mexican Lourdes “Lulu” Juárez, will defend her crown against her compatriot Luz Elena “Guerrerita” Aguilar this Friday, November 12, at the International Convention Center, Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico.
Juárez held a training session open to the media and the general public, at the Malecón in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco. She looked in excellent condition, sharp fast and ready for the defense of the 115-pound crown.
Lourdes, who has accumulated a seven-year streak without defeat, declared herself determined to continue it this Friday in the beautiful tourist destination.
“Little Lulu” Juárez won the title in December 2019, when she defeated Guadalupe Martínez on points. Last July, she made the first defense of the crown against Diana Fernández, and this Friday, she fights Aguilar. She will come into this match with a record of 32-2, 4 knockouts.
Aguilar has a 7-2-1 record, 1 knockout. She has won her last two bouts against Lizeth Carolina García and hopes to surprise.
