Premier Boxing Champions presents two major bouts on Saturday, September 19th, for broadcast live on SHOWTIME from Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.
Erickson “The Hammer” Lubin (22-1) and Terrell Gausha (22-1-1) will meet in an elimination match where the World Boxing Council Silver super welterweight title will also be at stake.
The two were scheduled to fight last October, but it was called off when Gausha injured a hand during training. Lubin ended up facing Nathaniel Gallimore defeating him by unanimous decision.
While 2012 Olympic silver medalist Tugstsogt Nyambayar from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, will face tough Mexican fighter Eduardo Ramirez in a WBC featherweight elimination bout.
Nyambayar has not fought since suffering a loss to reigning WBC champion Gary Russell Jr. in February. Ramirez has won three of his last four fights since a loss to Lee Selby in December 2017. The 27-year-old southpaw from Los Mochis, Mexico, is coming off a fourth-round knockout victory of previously undefeated Leduan Barthelemy last November in Las Vegas.
