Lubin defeats  Gausha in Connecticut

Erickson Lubin former Olympian, Terrell Gausha by UD in a super welterweight elimination match of the World Boxing Council.

Also at stake was the Silver title of the division, at the Mohegan Sun Arena, of Uncasville, Connecticut.

Now, Erickson Lubin will challenge, the winner of the unification fight, Jermell Charlo vs. Jeison Rosario, on September 26.

After a slow start, 24-year-old Lubin (23-1, 16 KOs) took control of the fight to dominate Gausha (21-2-1, 10 KOs), who was always competitive.

In the co-main event, Mongolian Tugstsogt Nyambayar defeated  Cobia Breedy from Barbados, by 12 round split decision in a WBC featherweight elimination match.
