The International Boxing Hall of Fame (IBHOF), located in Canastota, New York, pays tribute to historic champions, trainers, journalists and people involved in the world of boxing.
The IBHOF run by Ed Brophy, has held annual ceremonies honoring the new induced members, becoming a gathering point for great boxing legends of yesterday and today.
The International Boxing Hall of Fame is synonymous with greatness, as it also has a museum, housing an incredible collection that have made Canastota one of the favorite and revered tourist sites of boxing fans.
Unfortunately due to the Covid 19 coronavirus pandemic, the IBHOF must postpone its 31st annual induction ceremony. The Class of 2020 includes boxers Bernard Hopkins, Juan Manuel Márquez, “Sugar” Shane Mosley, Frank Erne, Paddy Ryan, Barbara Buttrick, Christy Martin, Lucia Rijker; promoters Lou DiBella, Kathy Duva and Dan Goossen. And journalists Bernard Fernández and Thomas Hauser.
Due to this postponement, the IBHOF has some financial difficulties, so it is holding an auction to raise funds. This is a superb opportunity to support an historic venue while you earn a great boxing collection piece.
The auction will begin this Monday, July 27th at 9 a.m. (EST) and will close on Wednesday, July 29th at 7 p.m. (ITS T).
