Kim Clavel to contest WBC Silver title

Canadian fighter and current NABF light fly champion, Kim Clavel (13-0, 2KO), will face Mexican Maria Soledad Vargas (15-3-1, 1 KO) for the prestigious WBC Silver title on August 28 in Montreal, Canada.

This event will also mark the return of world contender Mikael Zewski (34-2-0, 23KO) who defeated Egidijus Kavaliauskas in September 2020. The charismatic Trois-Rivières resident has just two losses in 36 professional fights, and he intends to return to victory and relaunch his international career with a great performance. His opponent will be Dilan “Tremendo” Loza, 23 (15-4-1, 9KO), a tough young Mexican fighter.

Sébastien Bouchard (19-2, 8KO) has had several injuries in recent years and this will be the first time since 2018 that he will compete in two fights in the same year. In his last fight of last March, he stole the spotlight at the Plaza Quebec hotel in Quebec City, fighting Mario Pérez (20-7-5, 12KO) getting a spectacular decision victory.
