
Veteran former world champions, Amir Khan and Kell Brook, battle this Saturday, February 19, at the AO Arena, in Manchester, England.
Both fighters were face to face in London, during the official weigh-in this Friday, showing that they are in excellent condition. Khan weighed 147.3 pounds, while Brook was 148.3 pounds.
Amir Khan (34-5, 21KOs), Britain’s 2004 Olympic silver medalist, was the unified super lightweight champion before back-to-back losses to Lamont Peterson and Danny Garcia, he was considered the man to beat at 140 pounds.
Kell Brook (39-3, 27KOs) was the IBF welterweight world champion for three years, when Khan was making a career in the same division.
The fight, which is promoted by Boxxer, will be shown on Sky Sports Box Office in the UK.
