Josh Taylor ready for WBSS semi final

World Boxing Council silver super lightweight champion Scottish Josh Taylor will defend his crown in the semi-final of the successful World Boxing Super Series tournament against Belarusian Ivan Baranchyk on May 18 at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow. Scotland.

Taylor (14-0, 12 KOs) stopped American Ryan Martin in the seventh round in an impressive fight.

For his part, Baranchyk (19-0, 12 KOs) earned his spot in the semi final. On October 27  he defeated Anthony Yigit of Sweden through a stoppage in the seventh round.
