Jose Carlos Ramírez raring to resume full training

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the defense of World Boxing Council superlight champion José Carlos Ramírez against Viktor Postol has already been postponed a couple of times.

The first postponement was in January 2020 two weeks after his clash that had been agreed in China. The second time came in March when sporting events were suspended due to the pandemic.
This week Ramírez announced that he will return to the gym to start yet another training camp to face Postol, and if he will win. He reiterated his desire to face Britain`s Josh Taylor, who is champion of the WBA and the IBF.
