English heavyweight Joe Joyce retained his WBC Silver title by knocking out German Christian Hammer in the fourth round in the main event of a card that took place at Wembley Arena in London, England.
Joyce underlined his superiority over Hammer, whom he sent to the canvas four times. So Joe maintains his undefeated record and confirm himself as one of the most dangerous heavyweights today, due to his strength and enormous power.
Hammer started the first round well, unleashing sharp combinations. In the second, Joyce went forward, punishing his rival with power, especially to the body.
In the third, Joyce continued to hurt the German who valiantly tried to counter but was dropped with a crunching body shot.
In the fourth round Joyce was determined to finish Hammer, dropping him three more times. The Referee ended the fight at 1:20 minutes.
With this victory Joyce improves his record to 14-0, with 13 knockouts. Hammer, for his part is now 27-10, with 17 knockouts.
