Jesús Ramos at  Martes de Café

Interim middleweight champion Jesús “Mono” Ramos Jr. was present at Martes de Café.

During the event, he received his ring, certificate, and bracelet, as the championship belt had already been presented to him following his fight.

Mauricio Sulaiman highlighted the importance of the boxer’s team, particularly the trainer:

“My father always worked to ensure recognition for someone just as important as the boxer: the trainer. At the WBC, the trainer who crowns a world champion is awarded a trainer’s belt.”

Jesús Ramos Jr. commented:

“First of all, thank you very much to everyone for coming. I am very happy to be here; it is an honor. This is my first time in Mexico City. Thank you for the warm welcome, and thank you to the Sulaiman family.”

Finally, Jesús Ramos, father, manager, and trainer of “Mono” Ramos, said:

“Thank you very much to Mauricio for this gift. We will continue training hard and delivering great fights.”
