Twin brothers and world champions, Jermall Charlo and Jermell Charlo, will be defending their titles on a massive card on September 26, at the “Mohegan Sun Arena” in Uncasville, Connecticut.
WBC super welterweight champion Jermell Charlo (33-1, 17 KOs) aims to unify his WBC belt versus IBF super welterweight champion Jeison Rosario (20-1-1, 14 KOs).
Jermell Charlo was accompanied during a virtual training by his trainer Derrick James, while they performed a series of exercises and routines.
The training was streamed live on PBC’s YouTube page.
This is what Charlo and James had to say at the end of the practice:
JERMELL CHARLO
“I am excited and ready for September 26th. This is the time to prevail and for my brother and me to make history ”
“My brother and I have come so far together. It is not just in boxing, but in everything in our lives. We are proof that all you have to do is keep pushing yourself. September 26 is the day I have to take advantage of all the time I dedicate to this sport. Fighting on SHOWTIME PPV is incredible. We have a tough fight and a great challenge that we must overcome.”
DERRICK JAMES
“Jermell’s focus is higher than ever because of the magnitude of this fight, the opponent himself, and the stakes. He was already in great shape when we got to the camp. So we built on that from the beginning.
“We are building a plan from the last fight. Things are going very well and we will arrive at the fight in great condition.”
