Interim interlude for Jermall Charlo

The return of Jermall Charlo to his hometown is June and he`ll  defend his WBC Interim middleweight title against Brandon Adams, in  Houston, with Showtime televising it   as the main event at the Arena NRG.

The card was initially planned for June 8 or 15, but it was finally decided that June 29 would be a better date to not coincide with other matches.

Charlo (28-0, 21 KOs), 28, is favorite over Adams (21-2, 13 KOs) of Los Angeles, who won the fifth season of “The Contender” late last year. Adams, 29, defeated Shane Mosley Jr. (13-3, 8 KOs) by unanimous decision in the final of the 10-round season on November 9 at The Forum in Inglewood, Calif., and now he will take a big step forward, fighting against middleweight charlo.
