Insightful international boxing photo contest

The Galician Boxing Federation announces and invites the boxing community to its first international photographic contest

1. Participants

Legal age people. Members of the Galician Boxing Federation who are part of its Board of Directors and people related to the organization of the Contest are excluded from participation.

2. Sections:

a- Monochrome

b- Color

3. Number of photographs 

Authors may submit a maximum of two photographs for each section.

Photographs that were not taken between the years 2019-2021 will be assessed by the organizing committee.

4. Competition phase

The contest is divided into a single phase, the photographs will be evaluated by the jury in digital format.

5. Format of the photographs

Participants will send exclusively in digital format to the following email address comunicacion@fgboxeo.org  Images must be in JPEG format, the maximum side being 1,920 pixels if the image is horizontal and 1080 pixels if the image is vertical or square; a resolution of 72 dpi and a maximum size of 1500 kb. In case that the size is greater, the photos will be automatically reduced to be adjusted to the required measures, the organization is not responsible for the result obtained.

The title of the photos must be simple, followed by a number (from 1 to 3). The delivery of photographs must be made between May 25 and July 29.

6. Participation rights

The contest will be free for all participants, but the Galician boxing federation opened a support program for Galician clubs and anyone who wants to donate can do so through this paypal account.jesusfigueroapena@gmail.com

– Recognition signed by all the judges and Mauricio Sulaiman (president of the WBC)

– Fgboxing t-shirt

– International dissemination through our different media

8. For consideration 

– It is not necessary for the photographs to be unpublished; they may have participated in other contests and even have won prizes.

 – Participants are fully responsible for being the only authors, that there are no

rights to third parties, as well as any claim for image rights over the works

submitted to the contest.

– The contest will respect the copyright of the awarded photographs, which will continue to be in possession of these.

– The photographs may be used only for the dissemination of this or future editions of this. Said use does not imply any payment to the authors of the works.
