
The Francophone cruiserweight champion of the World Boxing Council, Frenchman Herve Lofidi (13-3-0, 5 Ko`s) defended his crown by defeating tough contender from the Czech Republic, Vasil Ducar (8-2-1, 7 Ko’s ).
The match, which took place at the Palais des Sport Marcel Cerdan, Levallois-Perret, near Paris, France, was very entertaining and lively throughout.
Significantly the greater experience of the champion made the difference and was reflected in the scores of the Judges.
Judge Brahim Ait Aadi scored it 115-113, Christophe Fernandez 116-112 and Robert Verwijs 117-111. The supervisor was the Vice President of the WBC Houcine Houichi.
