Harper faces Baumgardner Saturday

Britain’s Terri Harper will return to the ring for the first time in 12 months, determined to retain her World Boxing Council super-featherweight belt against American Alycia Baumgardner, Saturday night at the Sheffield Arena in the United Kingdom.

In her last fight, the 24-year-old stopped Norway’s Katharina Thanderz in nine rounds to retain her world championship.
The Denaby-born champion was set for a unification bout with undefeated WBA world champion South Korea Hyun-Mi Choi in May, before sustaining a hand injury that has kept her out of the ring for several months. Now she`s back!
