The World Boxing Council and its President Mauricio Sulaiman Saldivar, as well as all the boxing family are mourning, following the death of legendary judge and boxing analyst, Harold Lederman, who passed on Saturday at age 79, after a battle against cancer.
A native of New York, Lederman began his career as a judge in 1967 and later in 1986 joined the HBO broadcast team as an analyst for several decades. He worked as a boxing judge until 1999.
Lederman was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2016.
Rest in Peace dear friend and great boxing man; you will be very missed and never forgotten.
