Haney and Gamboa will clash in Hollywood, Florida

World Boxing Council lightweight champion, Devin Haney, will defend his title against former world champion, Yuriorkis Gamboa, on Saturday, November 7, at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, in Hollywood, Florida.

Haney (24-0, 15 KOs) returns to action for the first time since November 2019, after injuring his right shoulder, defeating Alfredo Santiago in the first defense of his belt in Los Angeles.

Haney had a successful surgery on the injury and is now ready to resume his quest to dominate at 135 pounds, a division loaded with big names.

Gamboa from Cuba  (30-3, 18 KOs), a former  world champion and Olympic gold medalist, is seeking to become a three-time world champion in his third attempt after challenging tough opponents Terence Crawford and Gervonta Davis.
