Hammer on Shields

World Boxing Council middleweight champion in recess, Christina Hammer (24-0, 11 KO) Fights  American champion Claressa Shields (8-0, 2 KO) on April 13 in Atlantic City.

Two  of the best pound for pound thunderbolts will star in the most anticipated fight of women’s boxing today.

Hammer and Shields were going to clash in November, but a Hammer delayed the showdown. Now she  is 100% recovered and is making a strenuous preparation for the most important fight of her career.

Hammer  has been champion for eight years and at 28 she is in the best moment of her career.

Shields is the favorite of the American public. She participated in the London 2012 Olympic Games, and won the gold. And repeated the feat in Rio 2016, before heading to professional boxing.
