Great and so brave recovery of Alejandra Guzman

After almost a year since a fracture she suffered to her right arm,  when she faced Yamileth Mercado in February 2021 -in a great and tough battle, Alejandra Guzmán is recovering satisfactorily from that injury, because in recent days, Alejandra announced that doctors were about to remove the plate that she needed, to completely correct the direction of the bone.

That night, Alejandra “Rockera” Guzmán managed to fight the full distance despite this serious injury and although at that time she did not know its gravity , she showed the qualities of a true warrior fighting with everything she had for the WBC super-bantamweight title.

Today, on the way to a full recovery, Alejandra already dreams of the day, when she can return to her training, but especially to the fight, because if she wants something, it`s to become a Green and Gold Champion. 

We recognize, marvel at and applaud Alejandra’s steadfast courage and dedication, because despite the extreme pain, she never once contemplated giving up against great champion Yamileth, and although that night she did not come out with the victory, she was congratulated by all the fans plus the champ.

The entire WBC family wishes Alejandra a full recovery.  We hope to see her back in action soon, disputing a WBC crown.
