WBC super welterweight world champion Sebastian Fundora could have another fight against Tim Tszyu sometime this year.
“Towering Inferno”, if facing the Australian again, would be vacating his WBO title by not facing mandatory contender Xander Zayas.
This second fight would be given by means of a rematch clause established in the contract of the first fight. This condition could be activated before or after Fundora’s first defense, which took place in March of this year when he faced Chordale Booker.
Fundora and “Soul Taker” faced each other last year in Las Vegas. The American took the bout by split decision.
During the fight, Fundora made a cut on Tszyu’s forehead, which affected the Australian’s visibility.
