Freshmart and Inoue pass medical tests in Japan
Undefeated Petch CP Freshmart (Tasana Salapat, 48-0 / 33KOs), is already in Japan to face unbeaten Japanese Takuma Inoue (12-0 / 3KOs) for the interim WBC bantamweight, on 30 December at Ota City General Gymnasium in Tokyo.
Dubbed “Fuji Boxing 2018” it’s organized by Teiken Promotion of Tokyo with live TV broadcasting throughout Japan.
Petch CP Freshmart comments “I’ve seen the video of Takuma Inoue against the Filipino Mark Jon Yap, I think Takuma Inoue is a fighter with experience in intelligent boxing, but I am confident that I can smartly defeat him.”
Inoue says: “I have waited for this opportunity. I’m going to crown myself world champion. I respect my rival and I know it will be complicated but I will not miss the opportunity.”
Both fighters underwent the prescribed medical examinations required by the Boxing Commission of Japan, passing them without problems.
