Fresh against seasoned…with  Garcia vs. Fonseca

World Boxing Council silver lightweight champion, Ryan Garcia (19-0, 16 KOs) and Nicaraguan contender Francisco Fonseca (25-2-2, 19 KOs), faced each other for the last time at the official weigh-in before  their fight of this Friday, February 14 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

It’ll  be broadcast live exclusively on DAZN.

“2020 is the year to show everyone that I have the skills and talent to face bigger challenges. I have been working hard and training every day, and I have sacrificed many things to become a better fighter. Francisco Fonseca is a tough and this gives everyone the opportunity to see how good I am. I’m ready to defend my Silver belt, “Ryan said.

Francisco retorted: “I come prepared to give a great show, and God willing, I will take the victory and the championship home. I’m fully ready for a war.”

Both fighters overcame the official weigh in  without problems. Ryan weighed 134.8 pounds; while Fonseca was 134.7  pounds.
