Franchon Crews retains her title

Franchon “Heavy Hitting Diva” Crews defeated Citlali “Bellatrix” Ortiz by majority decision last Friday.

In a close fight, both boxers gave the audience an exciting show, landing powerful blows. Despite Ortiz’s strong performance, the judges awarded the victory to the champion, scoring the fight 95-95, 96-94, and 98-92. The scorecards reflected how close the fight was. 

With this victory, Franchon “Heavy Hitting Diva” Crews improved her record to 10-2 with 2 KOs and remains the reigning super middleweight queen. 

Franchon took home the Juneteenth belt, which commemorates the abolition of slavery in the United States.
