WBC and WBO super middleweight champion Franchon Crews-Dezurn, will face the WBA and IBF super middleweight world champion, Elin Cederroos, in a duel for the undisputed crown, next Saturday, April 30, at the legendary Madison Square Garden, New York City.
Crews-Dezurn (7-1 2 KOs) officially defends her belts for the first time, after her first WBO and second WBC defense against Alejandra Jimenez in January 2020 was declared a “No Decision.”
Crews-Dezurn won the WBC crown in just her fifth pro fight in August 2018, defeating Maricela Cornejo and added the vacant WBO strap in her first defense of the WBC belt, in a rematch with Cornejo, 11 months later.
The IBF and WBA champion Cederroos (8-0 4 KO) is a former professional soccer player turned elite fighter, who will look to add the Virginia fighter belts in her second fight in the United States.
Franchon is undergoing a tough training camp, because she knows the importance of this fight.
