Foster seeks WBC reign against Ray of lightning

Two-division world champion Rey Vargas and the main contender O’Shaquie Foster will contest the vacant World Boxing Council super featherweight title on Saturday, February 11 from the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.

Vargas (36-0, 22 KOs) last saw action in July, when he came off the canvas to secure a twelve-round decision victory over Mark Magsayo.
Foster (19-2, 11 KOs) saw action in Dubai last March, when he defeated the previously undefeated Muhammadkhuja Yaqubov by twelve round decision in a fight for the WBC Silver title.

O’Shaquie is very motivated by this long-awaited fight and for that reason he is doing a great preparation, since his goal is to become the WBC Green and Gold Champion.
The fight is organized by Premier Boxing Champions and will be televised on Showtime.
