Foster retains WBC Silver title

World Boxing Council’s Silver super featherweight champion, O’Shaquie Foster, dominated Muhammadkhuja Yaqubov over twelve rounds.

Foster, who had not fought since he knocked out Miguel Román in November 2020, took a few rounds to get back into his usual rhythm, but as the fight progressed he convincingly showed who was in charge.

Yaqubov, a southpaw, worked hard, but never managed to hurt Foster.

Judges Michael Tate (118-109), Gary Kitanoski (117-110) and David John Irving (117-110) all for Foster in a match that took place at the Duty Free Tennis Stadium in Dubai.
