Floyd Schofield in Excellent Shape to Challenge WBC Crown

Floyd Schofield will challenge the World Boxing Council lightweight champion, Shakur Stevenson, on February 22 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as part of the great card that heads the rematch between Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol.

Stevenson, 27, comes to this fight after having defended his crown against Artem Harutyunyan in June of last year.

Schofield, 22 arrives after having defeated Rene Tellez Girón by decision last November.

Showing that he is in excellent condition for his fight for the 135-pound title, Floyd sent the WBC a video with his current weight.
