First Punch established in 2013, has already gained some national and international success with their boxer and in January this year, they opened their new training camp in their home town Plettenberg, Germany.
Given this opportunity they added some social work in combination with boxing. First Punch has cooperation with several schools in Plettenberg, where they offer free boxing training to the kids. All this social activity is summarized under the name: First Punch School.The main part of these Projects is in cooperation with the Zeppelinschule in Plettenberg.
First Punch organizes a bus pick up at their school. Then the kids get free lunch at the training camp. Afterward some well qualified social experts work with the kids on the topics of : Respect, Discipline, self-confidence and conflict management.
Then the kids participate in boxing training. The training is held by professional boxing trainers. In the training the social aspects are considered. The total offer is for free for the children and school.First Punch uses boxing to help children with social education via sport.
Now the second round of this project is running. Next year will be Season three. The First Punch Team is a proud member of the WBC family and partner of the WBC Cares program and also supports boxing Gyms and projects in Afrika, Haiti, Poland, Ukraine and Germany.
