
This Tuesday 913 journalists from 5 continents belonging to AIPS, chose Muhammad Ali and Serena Williams as athletes of the century within the celebration of the 100 years of AIPS.
In the same event at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris, recognitions were given to different global journalists for their coverage of the Olympic Games and one of them was the Mexican Fernando Schwartz for his 11 editions since 1980.
Fernando is a renowned journalist, narrator, commentator, journalist and host. He has covered eight Summer Olympic Games, four Winter Olympic Games, nine World Cups and several events. He has interviewed great sports personalities such as Pelé, Maradona, Comaneci, Spitz and Muhammad Ali.
He has worked 47 years in the media, working for Televisa, Telemundo, Galavisión, Univisión, Espn, Fox Deportes, Fox Sports as well as a columnist for Diario ESTO.
