
WBC and IBF welterweight champion Errol “The Truth” Spence, predicts a great fight of ignite, when he faces the WBA champion, the Cuban Yordenis Ugas.
Ugas is a fighter who has great quality who has faced talented rivals and comes from defeating the boxing legend, the Filipino Manny Pacquiao.
“I can guarantee fireworks on April 16. Ugas will give it his all, just like me. I’m going to put on another great performance in front of the people of my hometown. I’m the guy everyone is talking about. The encouragement I get from my family and friends allows me to get through everything I’ve been through,” Spence said.
“I also thank Ugas for accepting this fight with me. He is a tough competitor coming off a great match. He is a great warrior, but I think it is my time to show the world that I am here to continue making history.
“It feels good to be back. It is a blessing to be in this position. Most people take life for granted until they are given a second chance, and I have been given a second chance at life and a third chance at boxing.”
Spencer vs. Ugas will headline a Showtime PPV event on Saturday, April 16 from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
