Nigerian heavyweight Efe Ajagba was mightily impressive, knocking out Australian Joseph Goodall in the fourth round, in the main event of a card presented by Top Rank this Saturday night at the Tahoe Blue Event Center, in Lake Tahoe, Nevada.
A pile driving right to the head, stunned Goodall making his legs wobbly in the fourth round. Ajagba realized the effect he wrought to his rival, and didn’t let Goodall off the hook.
Referee Tony Weeks followed the actions very closely, and decided to intervene to humanely stop the fight. The finish came 50 seconds into the fourth round, and this victory leaves Ajagba with his fourth victory in a row, improving his record to 19-1, with 14 knockouts.
With this victory Ajagba successfully defended his Silver heavyweight title of the World Boxing Council.
