Double Francophone WBC champion Hervé Lofidi has passed away
Former French light heavyweight champion, Normand Hervé Lofidi, passed away today at just 34 years old, after fighting a long and complicated illness.
In addition to being a prominent boxer in his country, winning the WBC Francophone title twice and offering memorable fights, he carried out important activities with young people to prevent violence.
The World Boxing Council and its President Mauricio Sulaimán send our deepest condolences to the family and friends of our beloved champion.
