Former World Boxing Council super-featherweight champion Miguel “Alacrán” Berchelt has his sights set on the biggest names in the lightweight division.
Berchelt will fight Namibian contender Jeremiah Nakathila on March 26 at the Resorts World Events Center in Las Vegas.
Berchelt vs. Nakathila marks the debut sporting event at Resorts World Las Vegas, which opens in June 2021, as the first integrated resort to be built on The Las Vegas Strip in more than a decade.
In the co-main event, top featherweight contenders Jose Enrique “Executor” Vivas and Enrique “Gemelo” Báez will square off in a guaranteed action clash. These bouts will be broadcast live on ESPN.

“Miguel Berchelt aims to become a two-division world champion, and he has a formidable test in his lightweight debut against Jeremiah Nakathila,” Top Rank President Bob Arum said. “It is a great honor to promote the first boxing event at Resorts World Las Vegas, a fantastic new property that we look forward to hosting many fight nights for years to come.”
