Don King Welcomed into the International Women’s Boxing Hall of Fame
Legendary promoter, Don King, has been inducted into the International Women’s Boxing Hall of Fame.
With this recognition, he is celebrated for his contributions to women’s boxing. This was the same reason he was inducted into the International Women’s Boxing Hall of Fame.
Among the most famous boxers who were with Don King was Christy Martin, whom he helped in the early years of her career. Don King was one of the first promoters who began to give visibility to women in boxing.
Don King was very grateful to have received this distinction and encouraged to continue giving visibility plus opportunities to women’s boxing.
